The Naked Prophetess Book Talk and Signing

Please join us on Thursday, April 9th from 11 a.m. - noon for a book talk and signing, by local author Kristy Gadson. Her book, The Naked Prophetess, is a prophetic call to women of faith to stand up and take their rightful place as prayer warriors and spiritual guardians of their families' faith and future. Prophetess Gadson will share how God has delivered her from the struggles of her past, as well as dreams, visions, and prophetic insights that God has shown her about the nation and its future. Electricity: Can't Live without It!

Please join us on Thursday, April 2nd at 10 a.m.  Dr. Atkins, author of "Developed for the Service of Alabama," The Centennial History of the Alabama Power Company 1906 - 2006, will discuss the beginnings of the modernization of Alabama as the result of an adequate and reliable supply of electricity.  She will show how the history of Alabama Power Company has been impacted by the history of the state and nation as result of depressions,   recessions and wartime periods.
